2011 Reunion is coming SOON!

Yes, we're still on for this year's Craig Family Reunion at the same place as the last two years in OKC! Saturday 6/25/11 is the day. PLEASE be there if you possibly can. Really, it's just lunch and a little visiting. We're one big family and we need to stay in touch!

Postcards will be mailed out in the next couple of weeks, so look for it in your mailbox soon. Some pictures from last year's (2010) Reunion will be posted soon too. And if you happen to have some photos in digital form that you can email me of previous Reunions or Craig family get-togethers that might be nice to be included here, then send them my way.

2010 Postcard Photo

The new "Craig Reunion" photo on this year's reminder cards was taken (obvious if you were in attendance) at last year's (2009) reunion in OKC. This is the same location we'll be at this year. We're just a little over two weeks away - Saturday the 26th! Please come if you possibly can. We really need everyone in the extended Craig family there to keep us all in touch with one another! We are family - lineal descendants of Ma & Pa Craig at the top of the family tree shown in the banner graphic for the site.

Here's the photos I took from last year's reunion in OKC. I'm not sure exactly why it took me all of 11 months and a week to post these here to the Reunion site, but I'll try to improve upon that turnaround time by 9-10 months at least after this year's 2010 reunion. BTW - if you have any pictures of this or any Craig reunion of the past, email them to me and I'll post them here on the site! Moved to Oklahoma City, OK!

The 2009 Craig Family Reunion will be held this year in Oklahoma City, OK. As most of you know, for the past many years our reunion was held down in Hickory OK in the Hickory Volunteer Fire Department multipurpose room. But with the greatest number of the extended Craig family living in, around, or more near Oklahoma City, it seemed to make more sense to have it there. So this year we're moving our location to OKC! The building we have reserved is the clubhouse in Melissa Johnson's neighborhood. It is a nice, new building with a good sized kitchen right off it it and lots of folding tables & chairs. And yes, we even have something for the kids to entertain themselves with here - a very large swimming pool right in the back. Check out the photos below I took back in November (why the pool was covered then) of the facility.

It should be a great spot for us to use. It is nice, private, and located right off of I-35 & I-44. If you're coming down I-35 from the north, you can get off at Sooner Road and just take it all the way to E. Hefner Rd and then take a left and take your first right onto Valley Crossing Dr. The clubhouse will be after the intersection at 107th up on the left side of the street. If you're coming from the south, just get off of I-35 at Hefner Road and then take it east. The next main intersection will be Sooner Road. Continue straight and then take your first right onto Valley Crossing Drive. Again the clubhouse will be just past 107th St. up on the left side of the street.
